Thanks Padhai for the reply, in reference to my post above regarding retiring, this was a tongue and cheek reply to Bernie, when he was jokingly referring to MRD potentially finding a bigger deposit than Sirius, if that happens then i will definitely be able to retire on what i own in shares.
But by no means is MRD even close to being a huge part of my share portfolio. You need diversification in all your shares as i am sure everyone knows that for every small cap spec company that makes it 20 don't. Potentially small caps can have the biggest influence in wealth creation if you manage to get the right one, which is like needle in a hay stack, but due dilligence and only investing what you can potentially absorb if something goes wrong. To me small caps and micro caps will always have a place in my portfolio as do many other blue caps but each to their own just my two cents.
Lets hope this is the one in 20 companies that make it though, the potential is there just need to strike it well. Anyway sorry for the spiele good luck to all holders.
