Almost all drilling ( mining industry production / exploration in general ) roster are 12 hours /day and 2 weeks on : 1 week off rotation.(Some have 1/1 FIFO which are the best for the workers but does cost the company an entire extra crew for rotation) .Monday to Friday are for residential office staffs and never for production crew .Non residential site based staffs like Mine Manager , Exploration Geologist and Mine Surveyors usually have the same rooster as production crew such as Truck Drivers , Charge up , Drill and Blast and Service Crew.

An operational mine is open 365 days a year 24 hours a day .( Obviously there is morning meeting everyday and its closed off for blasting which happens during shift change over ).

So yes ,even tho it is still in the exploration phase - it will be drilling in weekends .

If the driller is an experienced one (or his offsider ) they will be the first to know something even before the geo's get their hand on anything .

The company is not in a green field zone , it's already in a known mineralised zone and that's statistically increases the probability of a strike .

Also both the geo chemical and gravity surveys have promising finds i.e indicated abnormalities.

Obviously , drilling is the only way to confirm any ore body .

Now, we are not just throwing a dart and making a hole where ever we please .We are drilling in the places , where there are abnormalities found as per the gravity and geo chemical surveys (EM included ).

If the drill results get confirmed then the value of the company will no doubt break past 0.016 and beyond .

However if the drilling is not very promising then the share price will reflect it & suffer immediately , no matter what anyone in this forum or any forum would hope it to be.Same goes for vice - versa .

Good Luck and manage your hopes & expectations with tight stop loss. I've read thru people in other forum who lost their annual salary and some even their entire life savings in a single speculative stock .

Not saying MRD is one of them however when I read people getting excited to retire in a single stock well feel scared if it wont go their way . Happens all the time over and over .
