Oil prices might stabilize ,who knows?

"The Australian sharemarket is one per cent higher after an upbeat assessment of the American economy by the US central bank and a bounce in oil prices.
On Wall Street overnight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped nearly 300 points after the US Federal Reserve upgraded its economic forecasts and said it could remain "patient" before moving to raise interest rates.
IG market strategist Stan Shamu said the local market took Fed statement as a positive.
"Overall, (it's been) a really good day so far," he said.
"The stabilisation in oil prices overnight, as well, is helping the energy stocks."
