Mandurah has strong points, contingent resources are not bankable. There is much to learn about this reservoir. It was up dip on 76H and gas was expected. But there was oil. The well was clearly designed for gas, but not for profit, otherwise it would be set up for sales ahead of time. After all it took 30 months after 76H to finish 77H. I have doubts that the Indians will accept more investment unless the reservoir is understood. They don't like wasting a single rupee. It may be another long wait unless new broom sweeps clean.
