I am very confused. Although this doesn't affect me anyway, just can't figure out how ASX works out today as the ex dividend day.

According to ASX, 'XD first displays for a security from the morning of the ex dividend date (generally four business days before the record date) and remains until the close of trading on the date payable.' so the record dae is 16th, the earliest date I can work out is Monday 12th.

Does anyone have more knowledge on this?
