The biggests users of pyrometallurgy are the lateritic nickel miners, but they operate on a much larger scale than this project would.
So both capex and opex hardly relatable.
I would imagine that pyro opcosts will be much much higher than CIL, orders of magnitude Fortunately this project should/might have the ore grades to carry it.
When I spoke to the company they referred to a similar project in the US with same assay/met issues. I don’t know how advanced that project is.

I do think you are trying to model something that is not ready to model.
I would strongly suggest that you call the company to get a handle on what they propose for the trial mining, pilot plant and progressing the project forward path. I think their past ASX announcments have lead to a bit of uncertainty and that is particularly evident on this forum.
The company will always answer any questions from current or potential investors.
My impression is that BBX are being very careful with this project. It just cannot move fast due to the assay/metallurgy issue.
