Bonus....thanks for your post.
What?.....so what you are saying is that, if the person I like and vote for doesn't get in, they can give my vote to someone else that (possibly) I don't like??
I have never understood that.....sounds like Russian roulette!
So not only do I have to know who I want to vote for, but I have to know who THEY want to vote for if my vote doesn't land in fertile soil?
Wow.....as you say, the average punter has no idea that that is the system.
I'm very happy how QLD worked out regardless (I live in Melbourne)....Labour in (50% renewables), Libs not (coal fired power station...are you kidding?).....and One Nation totally f-cked over....what a beautiful outcome! I vote Green but I don't know whether all the argy bargy meant they made any progress or not?
So,Bonus I'm reading your posts and hugely agreeing and liking how you put your point.
Your LHI post (not Norfolk) was an eye opener for me....thanks for that....but for you, I would never have known that Joshy had done that....I think he's basically a nice bloke but trapped by "the system"
Just increases my resentment of the current governments totally out of tune approach to RE and "wíshing an a hopin'' that they get run over by a bus really really soon. John
