    Dougiedog, yes, Ive noticed that the bargain hunters are starting to poke their noses out in Spanish real estate, and that has been the worst market. The Poms have a rising pound against the Euro, which has made things abit more attractive than of late. The buyers are not chasing but looking for bargains, but there are a lot about, and they are at least looking and buying, building up a bit lately.
    Referring here to the residential market, but expect it would be pretty similar for commercial. If you can get it, borrowing is cheaper.

    Lower borrowing rates and bargain prices are not a common combination in the history of property, so some operators are darting out to bag a few buys. Fortune favours the bold, the old saying goes. Sitting tenants on good longish leases paying the rent are probably a big advantage in selling commercial, just now.
