Does anyone know if there is any capacity for the conversion of spodumene concentrate to carbonate in Europe? Or is all done in China?
I see plenty of future battery factories being announced in Europe, but they cant do much with 1-6% Li in the form of spodumene.
So are these landlocked European lithium finds going to be remotely cost competitive to others that are closer to China?
