It would seem they act as an affiliate service for Taobao, cTrip and other big merchants as well. This could be huge as their is a large sector of china that doesn't trust online payments from websites but if it was bought from within the banking app they would be happy to proceed.
Scale here is enormous, at 65cents today it appears to very cheap still. Would love to see the price in 12months time if it continues it's rapid growth.
