The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) is inviting expressions of interest from individuals who wish to be included in a prequalified panel of experts to provide professional expertise and advice on scientific and technical matters related to coal seam gas (CSG) issues.
The overall role of the panel is to provide advice to DERM on scientific and technical matters relating to disposal of CSG water to surface waters, aquifer injection, managed aquifer recharge; cumulative impacts of discharges, material impact and/or exclusion decisions where CSG water disposal could have an impact on town drinking water supplies and beneficial uses of CSG waters and to the QWC in relation to matters associated with management of cumulative groundwater impacts from CSG water extraction.
