Raising fish in captivity has so far been largely confined to nearshore caostal waters, ponds, lakes, and rivers.

One of the main problems with fish farming is pollution, heavy rains recently washed animal manure off a farm into a river in the US causing devastation to the fish life, as much as 20.000 fish had died.

Investing into a company and nine months later being informed that the entire fish stock has been wiped-out because of pollution or disease is a big risk one takes.

Cell on the other hand is land based, totally contained away from all the nasty pollutions, that guarantees consistent year round supply.
