Agree they are lame and no teenager would play them. My kids, who are pre-teens, only use them when their teachers instruct them to do so.

The point I am trying to make is that these type of games can never compete against the PS4 or Xbox one. The only way to market these edugames is to adopt the Mathletics approach which is to become part of the curriculum. My kids compete against other kids from around Australia and the world. My son finished in the top 100 for grade one.

This is the approach I am hoping ESN take with their products.

Therefore in my opinion, the software must impress the principals, educators and PTA first and the end user second.
They end users are kids, they do what they are told.
