Sadly true - I had a look through the website code and the source code for the widget. It is a sophisticated hit counter. It does try to establish whether you are a returning visitor based on cookies etc (so the hit number is not just Borris hitting refresh !!) but it is not a counter for number of people who have registered (paid or otherwise).

It's not to be discounted as an indicator altogether though. The traffic to the page is indicating a decent groundswell of interest. Remember that this is the browser based version of the same monetised learning experience for IOS and Android devices (ie the subscription gives you a full log on to use in all 3 platforms).

The PTA fundraising and PTPA seal of approval websites both ultimately link to the Kneoworld page so definitely don't discount a lot of that traffic being from genuine customers/prospective customers !
