As stated in previous announcements, ERM's main interest is with that of the Talma well within PEL 457.

The resultant report from ROG drilling this well confirmed a discovery within the Kangaroo Creek Sandstones such that a production pilot well was planned. Accordingly, feasibility studies were done to assess the viability of a small scale gas fired power station which could feed into the existing high voltage transmission lines located nearby. Approval to drill the pilot was sought from the NSW government and granted.

Unfortunately, this is where the wheels fell off.

The imposed restrictions applied by the week NSW government brought everything to a screaming halt, ROG's cash reserves dwindled, ERM pounced and here we are over twelve months later.

The old saying, "someones loss is someone else's gain" comes to mind.

As you can see below, as long as flows are proven from the planned pilot, the proposed Summerland Way Power Project has some credibility.

Your right Strauss, it is an expensive process and having ERM in the mix just may see the above come to fruition.
