Mate I have worked offshore and onshore and the principle and practice is essentially the same, if raw gas is used, a superheating temperature of 50F, or by rule of thumb 25C, is used.
If processed gas is not available raw gas is used onshore for gas turbines. Not everybody has the luxury of having a gas plant next door to process the gas to run gas turbines.
Onshore gas turbine driven field boost compressors run on raw gas, it is a simple fact of life.

It would be silly to run a fuel gas line from a gas plant back to a satellite station to run the gas turbines, it is not done, the (raw) gas is there.

Does it destroy the gas turbines as you insisted would happen?
No of course not, the installation is supposed to be operated as designed, within its limits.

You will find there are high and low Fuel gas temperature trips and high fuel gas scrubber level trips incorporated in the design to protect the gas turbines.
If you work with Gas Turbines you are very well aware of that, these trips are not installed as Xmas decoration, but to protect the gas turbine.

Your comment about me having a massive ego, I do not wish to comment on that. I prefer to leave it the way you put it.
All I wish to say, a pity and sad you do that, but I am not responsible for what you say. However it explains more about you than about me. C'est la vie CB.
