The best solution should be next NSW govt kick Cubic back, and get back to ERG and stop the case, save tax payers cost, NSW people could use T-card within 6 months. All problems at the T-GATE may be only corruption. Some govt. officers are blocking whole Sydney public transport progressing for 1.5 years, and wast taxpayer money to pay for higher price and legal cost.
