Its my hope that they take into consideration any oversubscription prior to the underwriters shortfall.
If people choose not to take up their rights yes they will be diluted. But why should they be able to on sell to others incl institutional investors who only want short term profit from buying rights on mkt.
The last time this was done on one of the other stocks I hold the rights sold for a pittance so after brokerage small sh really only made a buck or so for their troubles. And really to buy the rights it only made sense to buy 250,000 Plus due to $500 min trade limits again small sh were disadvantaged and Institutions and Large traders reaped any real benefit.
IMO its better that the shortfall rights go to other eligible shareholders who want to oversubscribe. Yes they will profit but will be more than likely to hold for longer term. Small longterm shareholders like myself can get a bit of the action.
