You maybe right re merger affecting EPS. Looking at the issue of Newcrest's shares in Catalpa and the woefull EPS of Conquest being factored in the expected merged entity then EPS will be lowered even though Cracow will be now be 100%% income. This explains the sp drop on merger announcement. Catalpa should explain where we shareholders stand to lose as well as their glossy gains.
