A mix of paranoia and the typical irrational hated many people seem to harbor toward shorters. Personally i think if you are not playing both sides of the ledger when investing then you are really hampering yourself. A truly precipitous decline ... institutional dumping as a window dressing exercise end of year? Is there a private briefing that some big players have had that we don't know about?
