Vehicles can now have alcohol sensors to prevent a drunk driver from operating a car.

In the future, these systems will be more sophisticated and will be able to detect erratic muscle movement, heart rate and (from infra red scans) face temperature. The car of the future will choose whether it will be driven by the driver. There are already robots that can "read" human facial expressions.

My concern is about personal security because once these addicts have lost their jobs and have spent their money they will rob the elderly to continue to support their habit.
