Of course the productive class can afford illicit drugs and are no doubt addicted to the same, but the implied point is: for how much longer can they remain productive?
Cocaine might be beyond the budget of the welfare recipient, and its abuse may well be confined largely to the present productive class, but ice is affordable to both, and both, as drug users are equal contributors to the problem confronting us; their choice of which illicit drug to partake of is of no real matter.
Let's be thankful that we are outside of their number and that we will be preserved from their plight.
