KEY as a company certainly have the time to provide updates to the market if they want to.
The question is why don't they WANT to keep the market fully informed?
Ken could save himself time as he wouldn't have individual shareholders contacting him wanting to know information that in the past, ie 2007, he freely provided to the entire market.
I have to admit I was blinded by this company and it's story of high risk, high impact assets and the Hardman story. As time goes by I am wondering more and more whether the Hardman story was just dumb luck rather than good management/performance.
Formulating an exit strategy is difficult as I am still impressed by the Tanzanian assets and want to retain that exposure. Along with this, if I sell then my paper losses become real losses. In 17 years of investing history I have only sold one stock for a loss. I sold at a 50%+ loss and offset the capital loss against a capital gain to negate any CGT. 11 years later the same company was taken over for 6+ times what I paid for the shares.
