That would be the largest barrier to the technology. It could be potentially harmful. So would require intense regulation etc. I imagine that would make it one of the more difficult methods to see come to fruition, in comparison to other suggested methods of cleaning up. Even though it would be the most efficient. The fear may outweigh its benefits (from a foreign govt point of view etc)
