I have seen plenty of companies that have entered the ASX 300 - and then fail to attract any new investment - there is a lot of hype around index buying particularly at the low end of the ASX 300 where liquidity issues still persist.
This is not a critique of MGX, who I think are doing a good job and will continue to do well for shareholders. Merely trying to dampen some of the enthusiasm over the intro (or not) into the ASX 300; I personally don't care one way or the other if they are included.
