i understand where you're coming from but if the price is right then trf may well take the money and venture into more territory for exploring. i believe (memory) from some time way back that sr finch said that he was an explorer and not a producer. so that's where 40's coming from. had that not been the case then trf would likely have kept the lot and not floated ife. my assessment anyway. may be wrong but feel not. i do appreciate the financing of the ventures though and that's why trf went the route it did into ife.
whatever, the downside from here, is very low, to non existent imo. upside huge. 'tis why i've ventured back into the fold. was a bit fed up a few yrs back when promised announcements never came. i understand the stance the directors may have taken but nevertheless, a promise not kept is a concern and loss of confidence to the investor.
when trf first fell over the iron ore i did indepth research into it all and believed then that the future could be massive. that was all down to the 'parrot' calling it back then. i still hold that belief but times change and so does the outlook. commodities have taken a bashing from their peaks but we need to look further out and beyond the eu crisis. beyond the china problems too. i remember scribing way back on the trf thread and said that by the time production gets going the market confidence will be solid again and the indices moving steadily higher. once the first eu country bolts from the chain, that it's now tied to, ie currency inflexibility then the mkts will be away. in fact, many out there are readily preparing for for this being imminent and are buying a few stocks now.
i am very bullish for 2012 and the next few yrs. the downs do not last forever. there is blood in the streets in the nature of no free flowing money and very little confidence. always the contrarian lol.
a nice future thinks me. for a while, anyway.
