I think there is really nothing to blame, it just that we are in the wrong economic time at the wrong time to hold for long term. Inova is my opinion is a sound investment, but not great or significant that it is strategic to Australia's interest such as Prominent Hill.
A foreign company buying in at a lower than what most people here desired price (the $1 per share that many like to have), does not mean you got ripped off.
In the investment game its about making profits, at the same time, the risk you take, you can also make losses. I wouldn't say I always make gains, which I do have some losses or made some disappointing choices which I still hold. The key point to take away from this is how manage your risk/return profile at the most realistic point of view at the current time.
It would be great to hold your forever ever stocks and hope in several years in the future, it becomes a ten fold stock or more.
I say, move on and take a realistic approach so when you see a good gain, capitalize on it, by selling etc etc.
Good luck all.
If anyone needs someone who is better in oil and gas stocks I'm your man.
