I dont feel duped at all.
Im sure he earned that money (and now he has lost it).
Sure this business is not (and was not) as transperant as everyone would like. But the fact of the matter is this company pursued rapid growth. Everyone knew that this was being achieved by debt (and equity dilution). That was not hid from the market. So I dont think people were duped.
Is childcare "complex"? I dont know. But I would think that Eddy would probably be one of the most experienced people in this country in running a childcare business (the size of ABC).
But as I said above, what is best for the company and what is best for the shareprice are probably two different things.
I have no doubt that if he were to step away, there would be a rise in the shareprice.
