Of course, everyone from most politicians to companies like Rio constantly tell us about the ‘evils’ of coal without actually doing ANYTHING that affects them personally about it. If you really believe that C02 is destroying the planet then you wouldn’t travel in planes or drive cars at all. If Rio thinks global warming is real they should be shutting down all their operations. It’s all virtue signalling. I’d love to see the coal operators go on strike and then we’d see how much coal is really despised. No amount of solar panels and bird mangling wind turbines would make up the shortfall. Our gover nments would be rapidly begging them to restart.
