This article was in New York times Jan 18 2017 The 103 Coal plants planned and cancelled were 120 gw .Hope this helps understand Enogga what is happening to coal globally as renewables become cheaper.not saying the demise of coal will happen overnight but i would imafgine in 5yrs time (possibly with the exception of Australia) the reduction in the price of renewables will make coal history for all new projects
