I feel that the criticism of AWE is unwarranted.The market value of ADI prior to the placement at 26 , stood at 31/32 for some weeks , available to anybody who wished to buy.AWE offers 42 ie a gain of 31% & I was happy to take it.

The market in general has fallen approx. 10 % over the last month & if the offer was withdrawn , the market price wld. surely head back towards 31/32.

The is a big difference between market price & " real value ".You can buy most resource stocks at a fraction of the apparent value of their resources or reserves

ADI is now a dead duck as sushi has pointed out for some weeks.A well known analyst suggested over a month ago that the offer might be raised to 45 but that was before the fall in the general market.The opportunity has been there to to switch into bargain basement opportunities
