"Anyhow the purpose of the post is to link up a couple of commentaries made in different parts of the world but essentially the same outlook on oil and commodities."

Barneyw, didn't you start this thread? and aren't you being a little unfair?

"So what is it with you and DLS - you carry on as if DLS is a bad apple and the rest of the oil industry is going up in leaps and bounds."

If you read my post I've said DLS is doing the best out of the Cooper Basin players and why would I be accumulating if I thought DLS was a bad apple. My attacks go to the heart of the credit bubble driven unconventional shale oil/gas industry in the US. Funny that term unconventional, it seems to have now become the conventional in the US. Didn't DLS waste some money on a couple of these wells which are probably also sitting idle like the 5,000 wells I mentioned from that article in the US.

I think I've contributed some information which people may have otherwise missed and could help them make their decisions on oil and gas investment.

As for saying something wise I think I have. It is my view that the shale oil junk bond pile could cause a liquidity squeeze in the bond derivative markets that will end the 7 year US stock market bull run in either April or October of next year. I suppose my telling will only be wise if it happens. A corollary of this is that the price of oil will spike as the US bubble unravels.
