I seem to recall that some time ago in a post you mentioned that the post trial period could take between 3 to 4 months to get to the stage of the publication of the final report. It takes that long just because it takes that long to complete the pharmadynamic studies, biochemistry and parasitology evaluation of patient data, biostatisticians analysis of the data and finally the medical writers compilation of the final clinical report. I also recall that an interim report or part report couldn't be released either.....all to do with the stage 3 protocol which is needed for the acceptance of the report. It's no wonder that it takes 3 to 4 months for finalisation.

However, is their a chance of a bit of a short cut? This my line of thinking.

Back in March 2012 in ASX Ann558 Rawanda had completed treatment to 51 patients and similarly treatment complete to 70% of the Burkia Faso enrolment. This gives at this time probably about 65% comletion of the overall trial. My thought was that at that stage the skeleton of the report could have been prepared based on the numbers available and then completed or updated as and when the remainder of the trials were complete in Sept. The text ,hopefully, would remain the same and only the numbers would change. I have of course assumed that the results at stage 2A were as a minimum repeated......and if they weren't similar at the completion of the Rawanda / Burkina Faso trials you would question as to why the trials continued....the fact that they did continue is all good.

If it is feasible to take this short cut perhaps we may get a surprise at the end of October....or am I clutching at straws? (Again)
