Jacko it is genuinely Not Nice that 40% of Penny went private and almost immediately earned $3.77 million for her new owners , then went walkabout for three years earning the new new owners a healthy loss (whilst they did NOT contribute to the funding of mining as they were supposed to), then came back to the patient shareholders who over the years have paid up more than $9 million dollars including the funds used to bring Penny home from Singapore and back into public hands .

Someone was saying on another thread that Empire ‘accidentally?’ sold out of a large number of shares in one of its other companies just before that company went from 8 to 12c?

Then the Burbanks thing ..... clearly the mill had some water issues but sorted those out...meanwhile I was still holding then and I seem to remember exultant announcements saying there was not one, not two but three mills being investigated to handle all the dirt that was stockpiled ..
But not only did they not manage to get enough ore to Burbanks to keep the mill going, they apparently did not even bother to let them know they were going to default.

I am NOT saying it is a dud because I don’t know anything about recent activities or potential.
I just think there has been a lot of obfuscation and like I said I started this thread to help potential newcomers who might think they have done research because they have read a couple of online ‘news ‘ reports that may be biased due to being published by whatever online media company it was that loaned Empire a quarter of a million last year...

Maybe Empire is going to be bigger than Ben Hur after it does whatever it is currently doing and all the patient shareholders will finally be rewarded .
I hope so

....And in the meantime I honestly don’t expect my posts to make any difference to the share price.
