Yeah good idea, so what if the majority of the cars power is derived via a supercapacitor, and a drastically lower portion of the cars power ,is derived via a " conventional battery " , both of which are symbiotically linked?
Supercapacitors have humongous cycling lives ( over the millions) as opposed to battery's, which have cycling lives ( in the thousands ).
" A marriage in heaven " for an electric vehicle IMO.
