"As far as the Adit is concerned all that is required is a couple of airleg miners taking a 3m x 3m x 2m cut per shift, easy mining including bolting & meshing. Gear required, 2 handheld machine & airlegs, small bogger ( loader ) compressor & generator. $50,000 at most. 4 m to 6 m advance a day. Just not that hard, so i for one cannot understand where all of the money has gone. Jumbos, larger boggers, IT machine vent fans and other infrastructure can come later."
Thanks for posting. just saw your 4 to 6metres per day adit construction in your previous post.
if they only need 2 handheld machine(not sure what that means) & airlegs to construct the adit, then why bring in all this equipment? isnt it overkill?
why add all this cost if it isnt necessary? this equipment is already in PNG at mount hagen from the last update in November 2014.
