Dont get confused with the type of ore they are targeting
Hematite ore generally needs to be over 60% to be a DSO
(direct shipping)and normally only needs to be crushed and
screened (WPG)
ROY are Targeting magnatite ore and anything around 30% is good,but this requires the ore to be processed more on site
to get the iron ore content above 60%.(magnetic separation etc) This process obviously costs more to produce but they normally get a better price for the ore.
