Thanks nro for the info and I hope you still continue to post in this forum anything you find positive or negative.
I think the lack of compliance to the EIA guidelines of the submitted drafts is concerning and shows that GGG are behind the ball on their working with the Greenland Government. However, it is likely these submitted drafts were a means of trying to engage with the govt early and it may have backfired a bit, since they have gone and assessed it with the same focus as a final submission (which is why they are picking on the fact it isn’t translation etc). Personally I would of shyed away from sharing drafts with govt bodies when submitting documents for approval, and tried to maintain collaboration by more organic means of communication with key players. Anyway, these problems are not insurmountable and GGG should be working hard on getting a final complying EIA sorted.
Also with something of this scale and impact, there will be a lot of focus on this EIA so it’s gotta be water tight, so it it is no surprise that the govt will be picky on the details.
I have decide to not sell down, as it is not always easy to get your parcel back when and if the rally starts. But I also anticipated a decline in December and kept away from buying a falling knife. I am optimistic that all will be sorted in the next few months, however I won’t be topping up until the final EIA picture is clearer to me.
