No interest outside of a small position I have built. I don't work in action/sports, I'm a geologist/engineer. I have used all of their sites and businesses in the past though and have kept an eye on the industry for a long time thanks to some previous business interests and still read blogs like shopeatsurf etc.

Unfortunately it's impossible to work out if what they paid for those assets was above or below market without seeing the books.

I was bemused when they made those purchases and didn't hold the stock back then after I sold my shares from the float.

I always understood Magic Seaweed. While I use swellnet in Australia when I am overseas or on surf trips I have used that site. I can see how as an online company you could could integrate that asset well.

Garage entertainment is a bit of an unknown for me. I had a trial with them 2 or so years ago and enjoyed it but never maintained a subscription - I would need to see the financials to work out how that company is going/worth. It is a super competitive industry. I can however see how you could incorporate it into the business. Spend 100$ or more and get 6 months free subscription or whatever. But I'm not sold.

Getting into hardware is the big curveball for me and I have discussed this here previously, I think the goal of it is to package boards and hardware for the cheapest price on the net and sell to areas which don't have local retailers or where local retailers are more expensive.

Hope that anwsers your question. Would gladly like to hear if you have contrarian views or can explain how they paid too much because as I said
I don't work in the industry and my only friends I have in the industry sadly are clothes designers who don't pay much attention to industry noise (they work for rusty, patagonia & independent labels).

I'm sure there would be a ton of goss out there in the lineups everyday but when I find the chance to get out for a paddle down here in vic I usually just focus on the waves.
