Going forward? Will depend on lots of variables. The class action, results of next financial report, the ability to resolve the obvious feud between board and Cameron and the internal culture of the group and within the many businesses scattered around the globe. The fall out that a new CEO has to face to either retrench (as they have cut 50%in USA) on one hand and ensure the job security for those left standing.
One big problem I see is the Board. From looking at their bios, I can't see them 'getting it' to deal with the surf culture and whatever skill Cameron and Pederson had in this area has been gagged. Throwing money and suits at this culture has been proven not to work. See Billabong, Quicksilver and Surf Hardware.

Stab and Magic Seaweed? well in regard to Stab, built by founders who 'lived' the brand to develop a strong cultural following. Since SRF took the helm, the social media bagging on Beach Grit et al have made a mockery of them and from what I am hearing SRF have turned it into their own advertorial that will erode cred . Cant just buy that back. Spread too thin on all these businesses and combined they can have the power to make you or break you depending on how the industry suppliers and the surf punters perceive you.

More than money at play here and that is being reflected in your point, that "There is a fair bit of anger and distorted views in the threads her for obvious reasons."

At 20c you could take a punt. Ethically I would not as I don't support companies that pocket and piss shareholders money up the wall. That cancer needs to be starved out so those responsible pay.
