    Some interesting news:

Batterycell production to be established in Germany. I think lately (from September) also the stock market is slowy getting more active in Germany, roughtly 200.000 shares traded per day. Who knows, scalable EcoGraf might be at the right time in the right place.

In order to compete with Asia, a battery cell factory is to be built in Germany. "We will open a battery cell production in Germany," said Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier (CDU) on Tuesday after a meeting with EU Energy Commissioner Maros Sefcovic in Brussels. Details he did not announce. "But we are in the middle of the preparations."
Due to the growing number of electric cars in Europe, the demand for batteries and battery cells will increase in the coming years. Germany is also aiming for battery cell production of the new generation. This requires a consortium of private companies.
At present, VW, Daimler and BMW buy cells in Asia and then build them themselves to big batteries for their electric cars together. The Federal Government and trade unions are therefore worried about over-reliance on Asian suppliers and have been pressing for some time for a national or at least European solution. In July, the Chinese manufacturer CATL announced that it would build one of the largest battery cell factories for electric cars in Erfurt. Where the exactly by Altmaier driven battery cell manufacturing is to be created, said the CDU politician not. At a meeting in Berlin in November, the project should be taken forward, he said.
The Tagesspiegel reported last week on a billion-dollar project from Altmaier's ministry in Lusatia. According to the newspaper, the Ministry of Economic Affairs is considering building a battery-cell factory there with Poland and providing a billion euros.
