I will confess that your point 6 is one which eluded my attention. I will go back and have a look. It does raise the question about the concept called accrual accounting (vs cash accounting) which should still consider these costs in the correct (when incurred, not necessarily paid) period. Where were the auditors on this one? Cheers.
