Tanzania Will Double Gas Output Over Five Years, Official Says

Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Tanzania plans to double gas production over the next five years by expanding its two processing facilities and building pipelines, said Thomas Bahazari, an official in the Energy Ministry.

The East African nation aims to boost output to 200 million cubic feet per day from 100 million cubic feet per day, Bahazari said in an interview today in Kampala, the capital of neighboring Uganda.
