Project "NRW Hydrogen HyWay": Grants for projects related to research, development and demonstration
NRW / EU CHP investment grant. Launch program includes CHP fuel cell
NRW Hydrogen HyWay
The key project NRW Hydrogen HyWay is continued in a second phase from 2013 to 2016. So far, at any time and independent of special calling the project applications project ETN of NRW be submitted. In the second phase, the HyWay is reintegrated into the competition Views of the country, starting in eight key markets end of 2014, such as "Energy and Environmental Economics", "production", "New Materials" or "Mobility and Logistics". The aim of the development of the lead market energy and environmental economics is to develop solutions to major societal challenges of sustainable industrial production, climate change / adaptation and resource / energy efficiency and sustainable energy supply and at the same time contributing to sustainable growth and employment in North Rhine-Westphalia to afford. The new method is considerably simpler than the current process.
The network Fuel Cell and Hydrogen NRW support applicants in advance eg when searching for project partners with specific expertise.
The following main topics are set:
Hydrogen production. Conversion (Elektrolyseurtechnik) and storage (eg in distributed systems and caverns) regenerative income stream in the form of hydrogen including subsequent use in the energy system (keyword Power to gas)
Infrastructures: the introduction of regenerated hydrogen as an innovative transport fuel (production, storage, filling for priority applications public transport and car fleets)
Fuel cell vehicles: testing of vehicles with fuel cell technology (focus public transport, commercial vehicles and special applications)
Stationary fuel cells: research, development and testing of distributed combined heat and power (CHP) fuel cell-based (in addition to the NRW-launch program CHP), virtual power plants with a focus on fuel cell cogeneration and hybrid power plants, as well as
Research and development: technical optimization and cost reduction of fuel cells and pre-commercial testing of new developments.
Project locations along the (imaginary) Hydrogen highway NRW / EU.KWK investment subsidy
