RB.  Yes, I've lived around agriculture most of my life and so I'm totally cynical about food production, marketing and consumption. Livestock aren't the only ones who end up being slaughtered.

For the most part, listed ag companies in Australia are, in my view, a value trap, not least because they are generally price takers. The higher you go up the production/ marketing chain, the better the prospects. The other killer is the cost and patience of capital. That's where family/ private/ unlisted enterprises usually have the advantage.

Indoor farming is, in the current jargon, a disruptive technology, and the established suppliers will fight to stop it picking the eyes out of their business model (unless they think they can join it and then do it bigger and better). If Freshero is effectively controlled by the buyer (the supermarket), then it should be insulated from competition, at least temporarily.
Roto Gro technology, along with Gibio, on the other hand, isn't disruptive. In some circumstances, it could prove to be an improved adaptation of exiting hydroponic production. But until it has been in commercial
operation, preferably for an extended period, it's value is hypothetical. The classic analogy is Sony's Betamax.

"Also we all have to eat, we just buy the safest choice." Hmm. That's one of the inputs. I usually just check the Country of Origin.

Yes, Point 4 didn't deserve a reply: by then she'll be on the High Court and won't have time to do a Royal Commission.

I'm sure you'd be welcomed back on the FDM page; it's pretty boring at present, and you'd get a better reception than some contrarians cop here. Debt fears? Shouldn't be an issue while they are hedged and they don't over-spend. If they drop to 10c then I'll also be adding (and be over-weight).

And Marley, I think that pharmaceutical grade cannabis is currently RGI's best bet. It seems that they have a production (and commercial) advantage in producing fast cycle, uncontaminated, high value cannabis flowers in grow rooms that can be next to the processing facilities.
