Yet NdPr, oxides & metal continue strong price appreciation:

6 Yuefen neodymium oxide, praseodymium listed the average price of 30.63 Wanyuan / ton, compared with 5 Yuefen 29.52 Wanyuan / price ton rose 3.77 percent .
June metal praseodymium neodymium listing price of 39.09 million / ton, compared with 378,800 yuan in May / ton price rose 3.99% .



Quite plainly while magnet demand for NdPr is growing strongly DyO is oversupplied to very weak demand as mag makers continue to delete and reduce its use, the impact further accentuated by substitution by Tb & Ho.

Nothing new, the industry has been working to eliminate Dy for years, as has been noted here continually, welcome to the reality.

NTU is promoting a heavy loss making 3yr "pilot", that it expects the Australian taxpayer to fund, to produce a concentrate with the two main elements by value & volume rapidly falling in demand & price.

How more obvious does this need to get???
