I haven't had a good look at mgx for a long while. Thats a different value play. They finishing off smaller mines with all in cash costs also going to production of low grades which wont make a profit. KI is high quality but only short mine life and still has risks cost blowouts etc.

I'm sure mgx have good management as you said it's all about what they do with the cash with the market cap vs iron ore potential. wonder if they will give back to shareholders? I would be interested then. I guess it's trust, fmg are in same boat or will be sooner or later to diversify. they prefer starting from scratch. not that easy to take over good assets at the right price.
