you hit it there, and presumably Doran. I cannot buy into the conspiracy theories wrt sp manipulation, with DB entirely on that.

Imo once ROC the operator has put an unwisely hyped spin on things, very hard for ARQ to effectively negate that by putting out there own more sober words, even if they were to cause JV offence and completely contradict ROC. Doran's communication, yet again, is the core problem for it's JVers.

I was also caught, topping up on Monday, but only an 8% top up of one of my smaller holdings. Lost much more to the lies/half truths of various oilers in the past. Trust an oiler at your peril. Trust your own judgement during the "reservoir interrogation" phase at your own peril. Even if not deliberate, they all seem to get irrationally excited over the first sniff of oil, losing all sense of balance. Then add our own greed/optimism.
