I think the announcements were poor, but I don't agree that any of the comapanies did it to provide a temporary jump in their shares. What would be the point of that?

I have seen companies do this to try to build up prices for capital raising etc during a drill runup, but somethinmg that is going to last one or two days provides no opbvious benefit, and actually creates more headaches for the company.

And Arc in particular provided no independent commentary.
