I have no issues with that announcement. To me it means what it states, "current total depth" at this time. There has been no announcement to advise that Arc have decided to cut short the well.
I am also pretty excited by this well considering they are actually performing a DST in the well. Must mean they have seen HC's.
Will no more of the story soon i'm sure.
